Chad Boat Prepares for Chili Bowl, 2008 USAC Season

Coming off a successful 2007 season which Chad raced in 4 divisions (360 sprint, 410 sprint, dirt midget, pavement midget) combining for over 50 races, Chad and the team are busy preparing for the 2008 season.  The first race up is the Chili Bowl in Tulsa, OK, the kick-off to the season and an event that draws over 250 cars over the 5 day event.

Chad will be chasing the Rookie-of-the-Year title in the National USAC Sprint and Midget division in 2008, the same division that has launched the careers of Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, and Kasey Kahne.  He will be racing in both the pavement and the dirt races in both divisions, a schedule of over 60 races across the Midwest. The team is preparing seven cars for the season (three dirt sprint, one pavement sprint, two dirt midgets, one pavement midget) and will move to a new shop in Danville, IN for the summer.
“I’m excited for the 2008 season”, Chad said preparing for the new year.  “It is a lot of work, but we are trying to be as prepared as possible.  I’ve been at the shop 12 to 14 hours a day since I’ve been on winter break from school working with our new mechanic, Bryan Sunby, building cars and getting things organized.  I learned a lot racing in Indiana last summer, and I think I’m ready to compete with the USAC national guys.”
“I want to thank all of my sponsors and the fans for the support they have given me in 2007, and I am looking forward to a great 2008 season.”
