Chad Boat to pilot the No. 16 Lawson Rock & Oil Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 150
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (November 9, 2015) - Billy Boat Motorsports (BBM) announced today a partnership with Lawson Rock & Oil and the No. 16 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Chad Boat in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix Intentional Raceway on Friday, November 13.
Lawson Rock & Oil, along with Pristine Auction and CorvetteParts.net, will adorn the No. 16 Chevrolet Silverado for Boat’s hometown NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race in Phoenix, Ariz. The 23-year-old, who captured a career-best ninth-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway in October, will attempt to make his fourth-career NCWTS start in the Lucas Oil 150.
“Having the opportunity to race in my hometown – especially with support from companies like Lawson Rock & Oil and Pristine Auction who are both based on the west coast – is a big deal to me. Billy Boat Motorsports has been making gains all season and I’m confident our trucks will be strong so we can put on a good show in Phoenix. Lawson Rock & Oil is a trucking company based in Fresno, California started and owned by John Lawson. BBM owner Billy Boat drove for Lawson in the USAC Midget Series in the 90’s, where they went on to capture record-breaking feature wins, as well as the Belleville Nationals and Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.
